How do I connect my phone to DroidCam?+
Install the DroidCam mobile app, then launch DroidCam on your computer. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, or connect via USB. The desktop app will auto-detect your phone.
Can I use DroidCam with Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet?+
Yes. Once DroidCam is running, it appears as a camera source in any video app. Just select 'DroidCam' from the camera list in your meeting tool.
Does DroidCam work over cellular data?+
For best quality, we recommend Wi-Fi or USB. Cellular is possible in a pinch but latency and quality may vary.
Is my video stream private?+
Absolutely. DroidCam uses a direct peer-to-peer connection between your phone and computer. Your video never touches our servers.
How do I upgrade to 4K HDR?+
4K HDR is included free with the latest version. You need a phone with a supporting camera and 5 GHz Wi-Fi for best results.
